Analyst Academy LLC ("Analyst Academy," "we," "us," or "our") operates Flight Check at flightcheck.ai. This notice describes how Flight Check specifically handles slide-deck content you submit for review. For our general privacy practices across all Analyst Academy services, please also see our main Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

What gets sent when you run a check

When you click "Cleared for takeoff", Flight Check:

1. Parses your deck in your browser (text content, plus rendered page images for PDFs).
2. Sends the extracted content to Flight Check's server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis.
3. Streams the analysis back to your browser.

What we do with your deck

• We do not store your deck, the extracted text, the rendered images, or the analysis output anywhere on our infrastructure.
• We do not log deck contents.
• We do not sell, share, or use your deck content for any purpose other than running the requested analysis.
• We do log standard server metrics (timestamps, IP addresses, response codes) for rate limiting and abuse prevention. These are not used for marketing or tracking.

Anthropic's role

Your deck is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's standard data retention applies: API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for trust & safety review, and longer if a policy violation is detected. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. See Anthropic's privacy policy and commercial terms for the authoritative version.

What you shouldn't upload

By using Flight Check, you agree not to upload:

• Content covered by an NDA or confidentiality agreement that does not permit processing by third-party AI providers.
• Personal data subject to GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or similar regulations (names, contact details, health information, financial details, etc.).
• Trade secrets or material non-public information.
• Copyrighted material you do not have rights to process.
• Content intended to abuse, jailbreak, or exfiltrate data from the AI system.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload to Flight Check.

For sensitive work, install the skill

Flight Check is also a free open-source Claude skill on GitHub (MIT-licensed). Install it on Claude Desktop and the analysis runs entirely within your own Claude session — no data passes through Analyst Academy's servers. We recommend this option for client decks, anything under NDA, or any content you would not otherwise share with a third-party AI provider via API.

No warranty

Flight Check is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. AI-generated analysis may contain errors, miss legitimate issues, or produce false positives. Flight Check's output is not professional advice — legal, financial, medical, or otherwise — and must not be the sole basis for any decision.

Limitation of liability

Your use of Flight Check is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Analyst Academy LLC, its members, officers, employees, agents, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Flight Check — including but not limited to business decisions made based on its output, errors or omissions in the analysis, loss of data, lost profits, reputational harm, or service interruption. Where any limitation is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, our aggregate liability is limited to USD $0, given Flight Check is provided free of charge.

Acceptable use

By using Flight Check you agree to:

• Use the service only for legitimate, lawful deck-review purposes.
• Not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the service.
• Not use automated agents, bots, or scripts against the API without prior written permission from Analyst Academy LLC.
• Not use Flight Check to process content you do not have the right to process.

We may rate-limit, block, or restrict access to the service at any time, with or without notice. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The Flight Check skill (SKILL.md and supporting files in the GitHub repository) is released under the MIT License. The flightcheck.ai website source, branding, name, and copy are © Analyst Academy LLC. You retain all rights to deck content you upload — Analyst Academy does not claim any interest in your decks.

Governing law & jurisdiction

This notice and any dispute arising from your use of Flight Check shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any claim or dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Flight Check after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Use Flight Check in Claude

Flight Check is a free, MIT-licensed skill — install it once and run a check on any deck without leaving Claude. Pick the option that matches how you use Claude.

When you install the skill, your deck stays inside your own Claude session — it never passes through Analyst Academy's servers.

Use Flight Check in ChatGPT

ChatGPT doesn't have installable skills, so you have two options: build a reusable Custom GPT (best for frequent use), or paste the instructions into any chat (fastest, no setup).

For best results use a model that supports image input (GPT-4o or later), so ChatGPT can review the actual slide visuals — not just text.

Use Flight Check in Gemini

Gemini supports custom "Gems" — save Flight Check as one and it's always a click away in the sidebar.

Gemini reads PDFs visually, so exporting your deck to PDF before uploading gives the most accurate review.
